Shiv Sena Corporator Surrenders in Thane Doctor Assault Case

Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre and three others surrendered before the Thane trial court after the Supreme Court cancelled their bail in a doctor assault case. They were remanded to Adharwadi Jail in Kalyan. The accused allegedly assaulted and verbally abused three doctors at Shastri Nagar Municipal Hospital, Dombivli, on July 6. The Supreme Court ordered their surrender by October 5.
