Seven Deportation Jets Bought Under Kristi Noem Remain Idle in Louisiana

Seven Boeing 737-700 jets purchased under Kristi Noem for the Department of Homeland Security to boost deportations have mostly remained unused at Lake Charles Regional Airport in Louisiana. Each plane has flown fewer than five times since April 2026. DHS, now led by Markwayne Mullin, is seeking to repurpose four jets for Congressional and VIP use, while the future of the other three remains unclear.

Delhi AQI to Enter Poor Category from Wednesday

Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 31.8°C on Tuesday, with its air quality index (AQI) at 179, categorized as moderate.
