Seven Arrested in Bengaluru in Inter-State Fake Currency Racket

Chamarajpet police in Bengaluru arrested seven people linked to an inter-state counterfeit currency racket, seizing 4,337 fake Rs 500 notes. The accused, from Tamil Nadu and Telangana, were caught after raids between September 14 and 25 in Bengaluru, Chennai, Ranga Reddy, and Krishnagiri districts. Police also recovered printing equipment and multiple mobile phones used in the operation.
