Sensex Falls Over 120 Points, Nifty Drops 24 Points

The BSE Sensex fell by 115.68 points (0.16%) to 73,491.07 in early trade, touching an intraday low of 73,210.76. It opened at 73,484.38 against the previous close of 73,606.75. The NSE Nifty 50 opened 44.40 points lower at 22,708.80, down 0.20% from its previous close of 22,753.20. The rupee rose 2 paise to 95.13 against the US dollar. Australian shares fell 0.3%, with bank stocks sliding ahead of inflation data.

Delhi HC refuses to stay probe into journalists accused of casteist remarks on ACP...

The Delhi High Court on Tuesday declined to stay the investigation into two journalists accused of making casteist remarks against ACP Vivek Bhagat. The journalists allegedly humiliated the officer and obstructed his duties during an October 3 protest.
