Sensex Falls 485 Points, Nifty Drops Below 22,750 After Early Gains

On Wednesday, the Sensex fell 484.98 points (0.66%) to 73,367.92 after an early rally of 829.29 points. The NSE Nifty also declined 171.25 points (0.75%) to 22,717, slipping below 22,750. Losses in banking and financial stocks like Bajaj Finance and Axis Bank outweighed gains in IT shares such as Infosys and TCS. The Sensex hit an intraday low of 73,356.71 points.
