On Friday, Mumbai's benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty declined in early trading due to profit-taking and foreign fund outflows following a sharp rally the previous day. Sensex fell 113 points to 74,187, and Nifty dropped 27.20 points to 22,967.15. Reliance Industries and other blue-chip stocks led the losses, while strong buying in IT stocks like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and TCS helped cushion the fall.
