Security forces in Manipur have taken full control of the Sinai camp, a designated site for Kuki-Jo militants, nearly three and a half years after ethnic violence began. The camp, expected to house 159 registered militants, had only one cadre present. Following this, authorities decided to audit all 14 designated camps in the state. This move comes as the ceasefire agreement with Kuki-Jo militants has expired, raising questions about its future. Seventeen unidentified individuals were arrested during the raid, and investigations into violations by camp officials are ongoing.
