SEBI Revises Closing Auction Settlement Rules Effective December 7

SEBI has revised rules for the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the stock market, effective from December 7, 2026. The closing price determination will occur daily from 3:30 PM to 3:40 PM, with investors allowed to place new market orders until 3:36 PM. Settlement calculations for F&O expiry days will also change. Iceberg order rules will be updated starting February 8, 2027.
