SEBI Revises CAS Timings and Derivatives Settlement from Dec 7

SEBI has revised the Closing Auction Session (CAS) timings and updated order types, timings, and settlement procedures for derivatives starting December 7. The regulator partly reversed earlier derivative settlement rules following market pushback. SEBI retained the 30-minute VWAP method for derivatives expiry settlement but changed the closing auction timings to improve market functioning.
