Scientists Develop Technology for Smaller, Longer-Lasting EV Batteries
Researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology have created a new anode-free battery technology that improves lithium deposition, enhancing battery efficiency and lifespan. By restructuring the copper surface and applying a thin MXene layer, they reduced dendrite formation, enabling smaller, lighter electric car batteries that allow longer travel distances on a single charge.
