Scientists Deploy 23 3D-Printed Reefs to Restore Deep Coral Habitats
Researchers have installed 23 3D-printed artificial reefs at a depth of 1,100 meters to test the recovery of damaged cold-water coral habitats. These structures were placed off the south-west Porcupine Bank near Ireland's west coast and in the Bay of Biscay, France, aiming to study coral habitat restoration in deep-sea environments.
