SC Allows Green Crackers in Delhi-NCR on Diwali Before Nov 9 Ban

The Supreme Court permitted the use of green firecrackers in Delhi-NCR on November 7 and 8 during specific hours: 6-7 am and 8-10 pm. A complete ban on firecrackers will start from November 9. Firecrackers containing Barium or not approved by CSIR-NEERI remain banned. No crackers are allowed within 300 meters of hospitals, old-age homes, and silence zones, which will be marked as No-Cracker Zones.
