SBI Fixes ST-Status Glitch for Arunachal Christian Applicants

The State Bank of India (SBI) resolved a software glitch that prevented Arunachal Christian applicants from selecting the Scheduled Tribe (ST) status when opening bank accounts or completing KYC forms. The Arunachal Christian Forum welcomed the correction. SBI's IT team updated the validation logic on the YONO and re-KYC platforms to fix the issue, confirmed in a letter dated October 14 from SBI's Itanagar regional office.
