The Indian rupee gained 7 paise to close at 94.92 against the US dollar on Friday, marking its sixth consecutive session of upward momentum. The Reserve Bank of India intervened to curb spot dollar demand, supporting the rupee. However, gains were limited by high crude oil prices and foreign fund outflows. The rupee traded between 94.71 and 95.06 during the day.
