Rs 94,000-Cr Mahadev Online Betting Network Linked to Dubai and Chhattisgarh

The extradition of Saurabh Chandrakar from Oman has spotlighted a major online betting and money-laundering probe involving Mahadev Online Book (MOB). The network, run by Chandrakar and Ravi Uppal from Bhilai, operated from Dubai since 2019-20 with 3,200 betting panels across India and UAE. Estimated crime proceeds are Rs 88,000-94,000 crore, with Rs 4,000-5,000 crore moved abroad. The operation used benami accounts and call centers on WhatsApp and Telegram.
