Roblox Accused of Scraping 145GB of 3D Models Including Adult Content

Roblox is accused of scraping about 145.5GB of 3D models from independent online communities, including adult content platforms, possibly for AI research. Open3DLab reported that a Roblox-associated web crawler downloaded 1,027 files from 712 projects across Open3DLab, SFMLab, and SmutBase. The crawler identified itself as "trellis2-data-sourcing/1.0" and used an Amazon Web Services IP. The community has no proof of how the data will be used or if adult content was included in AI models.
