A retired teacher from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Saguna Mod, Danapur, was scammed of 30 lakh rupees by cybercriminals over 15 days. The fraudsters threatened him with arrest, money laundering charges, and secret investigations, claiming a bank account in his name held 6.8 crore rupees from abroad. Under pressure, the teacher broke his fixed deposit and transferred the money. He later suspected fraud and filed a complaint with Patna Cyber Police, who are investigating.
