Retired IAS Officer Murdered in Bhopal Home, Suspect Missing

Rakesh Agarwal, a 70-year-old retired IAS officer, was killed at his Bhopal home in Surajnagar. The attacker, suspected to be newly hired caretaker Varun Kumar, who was hired two days prior, is missing. Police found signs of attempted arson, including an open LPG line. Agarwal was attacked with a sharp weapon on the neck. His wife discovered the body early Wednesday morning and alerted police.
