Report Flags Large-Scale Voter Deletions in Karnataka SIR
An investigation by the Anti-SIR Alliance and Citizens’ Vote Protection Committee revealed significant deletions and discrepancies in Karnataka's electoral rolls after the Special Intensive Revision (SIR). The electorate dropped from 552,497,19 in 2025 to 444,533,80 in the draft roll, a 19.5% reduction. The report highlights large numbers of voters marked as “Shifted” (6,545,679), “Dead” (1,639,864), and “Absent” (1,517,042) across 100 polling booths in 25 districts.
