Renowned Surgeon Dr Sanjiv C Nair Dies at 63

Dr Sanjiv C Nair, former head of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Hospital in Bengaluru, passed away at 63. He was president of the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons from 2024 to 2025 and led its largest global congress in Singapore. He trained many surgeons worldwide and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Karnataka chapter this year. His cremation is scheduled in Bengaluru.
