BusinessRBI to Include Bank Deposits in Consolidated Account Statements from January
Starting January 1, customers will receive a single monthly statement consolidating their savings and investments across asset classes. The Reserve Bank of India has allowed SEBI-regulated depositories to include bank deposit information in the Consolidated Account Statement (CAS) via NBFC-Account Aggregators. This integration will enable demat account holders to view their demat holdings and bank deposits together, providing a comprehensive view of their financial assets.
