RBI to Enable Interoperability Among Account Aggregators by 2026

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced it will allow interoperability among Non-Banking Finance Company account aggregators (NBFC-AAs), enabling individuals to access all their financial asset information on a single platform. This framework will be implemented by December 31, 2026. RBI will also integrate bank deposit data regulated by SEBI into consolidated account statements (CAS), providing a unified financial overview with customer consent, said RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra.
