RBI Governor Warns Against Complacency Amid Global Risks
Reserve Bank of India Governor Sanjay Malhotra stated that India's financial system is very resilient but warned against complacency due to risks from high global debt, stretched AI valuations, leverage outside banks, and AI-driven cyber threats. Speaking at the 5th Kautilya Economic Conclave in New Delhi, he emphasized that prolonged stability can encourage risk-taking and leave the system vulnerable to shocks.
