The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has simplified reporting requirements for small service exporters and importers. Under revised rules, service exporters need only inform authorized dealers about payments received for their export declaration forms (EDF) to be considered filed. This relief applies to inbound payments up to ₹10 lakh or equivalent foreign currency, reducing compliance burdens. RBI also eased reporting for service imports under specific conditions.
