Rare Large Marsh Grasshoppers Reintroduced to Norfolk After 86 Years
After 86 years, the large marsh grasshopper has been successfully reintroduced to Norfolk's Broads region. Conservationists raised and released thousands of these rare grasshoppers into restored wetlands. This marks the first hatching since 1939. The project was supported by significant funding, conservation partners, and volunteers, aiming to restore the species' population in the area.
