Rajatarangini, Mahabharata, Arthashastra Gain UNESCO Memory of the World Status
Three major Indian literary works—Kalhana's Rajatarangini, the Mahabharata, and Kautilya's Arthashastra—have been added to UNESCO's Memory of the World Regional Register. This recognition highlights India's rich intellectual traditions in history and governance. It follows earlier 2024 inscriptions and supports efforts to preserve and digitize India's manuscript heritage for future generations.
