Railways to Run Nearly 1000 Special Trains for Diwali and Chhath

For Diwali and Chhath festival travel, Central Railway is operating nearly 1,000 special trains in addition to regular services from October 1 to November 30. This arrangement provides about 9.25 lakh seats to accommodate increased passenger demand. The number of special trains may increase if needed. Last year, 600 special services were regularized, and this year more trains are being run to facilitate festival travel.
