Railways Plan Special Measures for Diwali and Chhath Crowds

Railways have arranged special measures to manage the large crowds traveling during Diwali and Chhath festivals. Facial recognition systems will be used at major stations to enhance crowd control and security. Additional waiting areas and increased deployment of security personnel are planned. From October 1 to November 31, 6,200 extra train trips, including 3,600 special trips, will operate to accommodate the surge in passengers.
