Railways Arrange 6200 Extra Trips for Diwali and Chhath Crowd Management

To manage the increased passenger crowd during Diwali and Chhath, Indian Railways has arranged 6,200 additional train trips. This includes 3,600 special trips and about 2,600 extra trips from regularizing 42 trains in the Eastern sector. Crowd control will use Facial Recognition System (FRS), extra holding areas, and additional RPF personnel. New holding areas are set up at New Delhi and Anand Vihar stations.
