Radio Signals Detected from Exoplanet Beta Pictoris b
Astronomers have, for the first time, recorded direct radio signals from an exoplanet. These signals originated from the gas giant Beta Pictoris b, located approximately 63 to 64 light-years away from Earth. This discovery marks a significant advancement in understanding the magnetic fields of planets beyond our solar system.
