R Veeramani Booked in 7th POCSO Case, 10 Victims Identified

The Special Investigation Team registered a seventh POCSO case against R Veeramani, chairman of Gem Group, based on a minor victim's complaint of sexual assault at his Gopalapuram residence. Veeramani is already booked in six other cases. So far, 10 victims have come forward. Veeramani and aides Shanthi and Mahendra Simhan were arrested on August 29, 2026, linked to multiple assaults on minors.
