Punjab Police Secures Deportation of Gangster Afridi After 10-Month Hunt

Punjab Police, with central agency support, deported wanted gangster Gurwinder alias Afridi from Ethiopia after a 10-month international manhunt. Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav announced a ₹5 lakh reward for information leading to his arrest. Afridi is a key figure in the Doni Bal-Prabh Dassuwal gang. The operation, named SHAHID, involved the Anti-Gangster Task Force and the Overseas Fugitive Tracking and Extradition Cell.
