Punjab CM Announces 3% DA Hike for Employees and Pensioners

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann announced a 3% increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) for state government employees and Dearness Relief (DR) for pensioners, raising the DA rate from 50% to 53%. Effective November 1, this hike benefits nearly 8 lakh employees and pensioners, providing an annual financial benefit of about ₹3,988 crore. The revised amount will reflect in December salaries and pensions.
