HealthPulse Field Ablation Used for Complex Atrial Fibrillation Case in Kolkata
A 62-year-old woman with recurrent atrial fibrillation and hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy underwent pulse field ablation (PFA) at BM Birla Heart Hospital, Kolkata. PFA uses electrical pulses to create targeted heart tissue lesions, offering a new treatment option for complex heart patients. The patient remained free from atrial fibrillation during the 30-day follow-up, though longer monitoring is needed to assess durability.
