PoliticsProtest Against CEC Gyanesh Kumar at Jantar Mantar, Delhi Metro Stations Closed
On October 2, a protest against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar is planned at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi. In response, Delhi Metro has closed entry and exit at 11 stations including Janpath, Patel Chowk, and Central Secretariat until further notice. Around 5,000 police and paramilitary personnel have been deployed, with barricades set up to manage an expected crowd of 3,000 to 4,000 protesters. The protest is organized by the All India Students Association, MP Manoj Jha, and others.
