Producer Blames Sankranthi Release for Prabhas' The Raja Saab Flop

Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory attributed the failure of Prabhas' horror comedy The Raja Saab to its Sankranthi release. Despite a budget of over ₹400 crore, the film grossed only ₹208 crore worldwide. Speaking at a Hyderabad event, he said releasing the film during Sankranthi was a fundamental mistake and declined to promise compensations to fans with the upcoming film Spirit, where he is only a distributor.
