President Approves Withdrawal of Kerala Private Universities Bill

The President has approved Kerala's request to withdraw the Kerala State Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Bill, 2025. The state government, led by Higher Education Minister Roji M John, decided to withdraw the bill passed during the previous LDF regime. A fresh bill with necessary amendments will be introduced soon as promised in the government's manifesto.
