SportsPranavi Urs Awarded ₹10 Lakh by IGU for Asian Games Gold
The Indian Golf Union (IGU) announced a cash reward of ₹10 lakh for Pranavi Urs, the first Indian woman to win an individual gold medal in golf at the Asian Games. She is the third Indian golfer to achieve this, following Lakshman Singh (1982) and Shiv Kapur (2002). Each member of the silver-winning Indian golf team, including Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar, will receive ₹3 lakh. IGU President Brijinder Singh congratulated Pranavi for her outstanding achievement and wished her continued success.
