Power Struggle Escalates Between BDFA and Karnataka Football

A power struggle has intensified between the Bengaluru District Football Association (BDFA) and the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA) following the suspension of BDFA chairman S Maheshwaran Balu and two other officials on October 26. Balu, elected in 2023 for a four-year term, alleges suspension without proper documents to defend himself ahead of the BDFA Annual General Meeting on November 1. KSFA has barred them from attending the AGM but has not disclosed specific charges.
