Polling Time Reduced at 44 Stations on Andhra Pradesh Tri-State Borders

Polling time has been reduced by two hours at 44 polling stations along Andhra Pradesh's borders with Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Telangana in Polavaram district due to difficult terrain and continuous rainfall. The elections for 101 MPTCs and 12 ZPTCs are the first local body polls after Andhra Pradesh was declared Naxal-free in March 2026. Over 3,600 personnel are deployed, and polling is monitored by CCTV.
