PM Modi Urges Fast-Tracking of Gurugram Metro Phase 2 Tender

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the Gurugram Metro Rail Project in August, urging officials to fast-track the ₹1,662-crore Phase 2 tender and accelerate the overall ₹5,453-crore project. The 28.5-km corridor will connect Millennium City Centre with Cyber City, including a 1.85-km spur to Dwarka Expressway. The project faces delays due to administrative and coordination challenges and is now under PMO monitoring. Phase 1 civil works are 35% complete as of September.
