Plan to Shift International Flights to Navi Mumbai Airport Updated

The Ministry of Civil Aviation has asked airlines and airport operators for a detailed transition plan by October 20 to shift international flights from Mumbai Airport to Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). The shift will be phased to accommodate redevelopment at Mumbai's Terminal-1. The process may be delayed by a few weeks to allow airlines and passengers more time. A review meeting is scheduled for October 13.
