PhysicsWallah is exiting direct student lending less than a year after its financing arm, FinZ Finance, received an NBFC licence from the RBI. FinZ Finance has agreed to transfer a ₹95.79 crore loan portfolio to education-focused NBFC Auxilo Finserve. The deal, signed on October 3, covers the majority of FinZ Finance's loans and is expected to complete within 60 days, ending PhysicsWallah's short-lived lending strategy.
