Petronet LNG Seeks Early Qatar Cargo Delivery Amid Hormuz Disruptions

Petronet LNG Ltd is negotiating with Qatar to receive pending liquefied natural gas cargoes earlier than planned due to disruptions in the Middle East that have sharply reduced deliveries. From March to October 2026, only about six of the expected 75-80 cargoes arrived. Normally, Petronet receives 9-10 cargoes monthly, each carrying 138,000 cubic meters of LNG.
