Parvinder Jhota's Photo to Be Installed at Golden Temple Sikh Museum

A day after Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj called slain anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota a martyr, SGPC president Harjinder Singh Dhami met Jhota's father and announced that Jhota's photo will be installed at the Central Sikh Museum in the Golden Temple complex, Amritsar. Financial aid of Rs 5 lakh each was also announced for four injured persons. The post-mortem is pending amid protests against forced cremation. The district administration cancelled the arms license of the main accused, Ashwani Kumar.
