WorldParis-Inspired Philosophy Cafe Launches in Bengaluru
Bengaluru resident Basit Manham started Philosophy Cafe in April 2024, inspired by the Parisian concept founded by Marc Sautet in 1992. After experiencing philosophy cafés in Thailand, Basit launched this initiative as part of 'Useful Philosophy' to make philosophy accessible. Sixteen sessions have been held biweekly, discussing themes like science, freedom, relationships, and political philosophy with 10-12 participants per session.
