Pakistan LPG Prices Surge to ₹7,000 After Iran Border Closures
Pakistan faces a sharp rise in LPG prices, with a 12-kg cylinder now costing nearly double, following the closure of two major border crossings with Iran on October 17. The Gabd-Rimdan and Taftan crossings were shut due to security concerns and technical issues, disrupting daily imports of 7,000 metric tons of LPG and causing shortages and trade interruptions in Balochistan.
