Pakistan Blocks Taiwanese Airlines Over One-China Policy

Pakistan has barred Taiwanese airlines from using its airspace, supporting Beijing's One-China policy. Defence Minister Khawaja Asif confirmed only mainland Chinese carriers are allowed to overfly Pakistan. Taiwanese airlines China Airlines and EVA Air have rerouted flights between Asia and Europe to avoid Pakistani airspace since Sunday. This is the first known blanket airspace restriction targeting Taiwan's commercial airlines, though the ban's duration is unclear.
