Pak-Linked Espionage Probe Targets Indian Navy in Andhra

A major counter-intelligence operation has been launched in Andhra Pradesh targeting a suspected Pakistan-linked espionage network aimed at Indian Navy and defence secrets. Eighteen people, including 13 Navy personnel, are under investigation. The probe has expanded nationwide with 12 teams searching across 10 states and UTs. Central to the case is Navy employee Pradeep Mukherjee, arrested in Coimbatore for allegedly sharing sensitive information with Pakistan operatives. Investigators are also probing a social media honeytrap angle.
