BusinessPhoto: HT WorldP&G Raises 2027 Cost Outlook to $1.4 Billion Due to Rising Oil Prices
Procter & Gamble (P&G) has increased its fiscal 2027 cost outlook to $1.4 billion, up from $1 billion, due to rising raw material, energy, and transportation costs driven by higher oil prices. Despite these pressures, strong demand for its beauty and home-care products helped P&G report better-than-expected sales in the first quarter. CFO Andre Schulten warned that commodity price pressures may increase over the next two quarters, potentially raising costs further.
